E-office and PARICHAY Digital Signer troubleshooting guide Recently it is observed while Gazetted Officers signing for their APAR and IPR with DSC Signer 4.0 which is recommended for Digital signing any document/page in E-office/SPPARROW is not working properly and tossing different error, whereas it was working fine before. So we recommended to process using e-hastakshar method for APAR signing but IPR page was still causing errors in few cases. It is now suggested to uninstall 4.0 or 4.1 and use 4.1.

CRIS SIGNER WORKAROUND While troubleshooting Cris Signer IPAS issue I identified that CRIS signer for IPAS works on Java X64 with listener port 2068 port and IRWCMS/IRPSM works on Listener port 2039 , IREPS has already introduced his separate IREPS signer which works on JAVA listener 2075 and it also works on EDGE too.   Now when monitoring installation and event logs , I found that both CRIS Signer for IPAS and IRWCMS/IRPMS are being installed on single path C:\CrisSigner and one is overwriting other and opening self-required port only.             So now as work around I downloaded both Signer version click here and installed them on 2 separate location like C:\CrisSigner_IPAS and C:\CrisSigner_IRPMS by changing path location when asked as mentioned in above screenshot   When installation is complete ,I made copy shortcut for respecting installation C:\CrisSigner_IRPMS\CrisSigner and C:\CrisSigner_IPAS\CrisSigner on placed them on desktop   after renaming as CRISSIGNER_IPAS and C

Download the CRIS Signer for IPAS - Click here Prerequisite of CrisSigner Install latest version of java ( if using 64 Bit PC install 64 bit if not installed 32 bit. Go to control panel of system. Click on java tab. Check the check box for automatic update. Check the java version in java tab of window. Stop Internet Explorer from allowing Redirecting to Edge in Windows 10 Open Microsoft Edge and go to  Settings . Now Click on   Default browser , and locate  Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge . Set this option to  Never .

a lots of user are facing issue while using Mozilla Firefox ( recommended browser of E-Office) where while adding any new receipt from Browse & Diarize or Opening any File pdf ( it goes to download section of firefox and does not shows up in Eoffice Page) , suggesting to look up below settings in Mozilla App to avoid this scenario , Go to Options > Applications, then find the listing for Portable Document Format (PDF).
